- At Torre, we’re building self-driving AI recruiters who replicate human intuition (100 matching factors + 9 types of AI). Our end goal is all jobs and all candidates, making thousands of job boards, hundreds of ATSs, and millions of old-style recruiters obsolete. TAM is $200B+/year. To accomplish this, we need movers and shakers who have the fierce determination to pursue big, hairy, audacious goals. Combined, our leadership team has 80+ years of startup experience, ranging from multi-million dollar exits to million-dollar fundraising rounds.

What makes you a strong candidate:
• You are expert in React.js, databases, Python, Next.js, and Express.js
• You are proficient in leadership, and startups.
• English - Fully fluent.
Responsibilities and more:
What we are looking for:
• Full stack engineer with experience in launching a product at a startup.
• Experience with React + Typescript, Next.JS, Express, Python.
• Solid understanding of the complete tech stack - frontend, backend, databases (SQL and NOSQL).
• Excited to work in a startup environment! The opportunity to be a founding engineer at an AI startup, and to help shape the overall product, is something that matters to you.
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts would be good. Containers/Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud management.
• Enjoys being a part-time Product Manager; i.e. build some understanding of the business and what customers want.
Responsibilities:
• Reporting to CEO.
• Contribute to the build of both our backend and frontend.
• Participate in high level design and tech architecture discussions. Able to make technical decisions and drive direction.
• This is a future engineering leader role. There is opportunity to grow and lead the team as the company moves forward.
